I wish we had more Packard stories of Vancouver! Well, here’s one, recreated somewhat, by Vancouver artist Charles Keillor, now on the Island. He writes:
“PACKARD ON GRANVILLE STREET”. 49x39 inches. Another new project from original sources taken awhile back. I photographed this lovely automobile parked on North Van’s Esplanade in June 2012; then “moved” it downtown to a location shot during the same week. Almost 9 years later, the drawing is done; in part remembering the great realist painter Robert Bechtle, who passed on at 88 in September of 2020.
